Magnesium and Aluminum Sand Castings 
The Lite Metals Company is a magnesium foundry that has been producing magnesium and aluminum sand castings since 1938. Their quality satisfies the most demanding small aircraft and racing industry requirements. We are experienced in small to medium prototypes in magnesium and aluminum and have worked with the helicopter and auto industry.
We are here to help you with any Magnesium or Aluminum sand casting requirements, just as we have been with our 165 years in the foundry business. We are currently ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B certified.
There have been numerous improvements to our facilities and operations in the past few years:

• A new larger capacity sand muller.
• QA Display - our new computerized processes & procedures system.
• A new and improved machine qualifying & inspection area.
• A new centrally located Quality Information Center that provides continual feedback on all management systems.
• A new computerized heat treat controller that allows us to proceed with NADCAP certification.
• Company wide training in all areas.
We are constantly growing as the industry grows and developing the knowledge needed to design tooling, produce sand castings and control their quality throughout the process.
